We are now in extended discussions to co-produce this feature with the team at East Coast Entertainment out of NYC and LA.............with the fantastic cast addition of American actor, Chris DeBlasio (One True Life)
Currently cast being discussed includes a reteaming of Sean Pertwee and Alex Reid from the Mike Bassett "Wilderness" project, and the introduction of Jamie Draven (another Alex Reid collaborator) onto the central cast. Other roles are being considered for Richard Brake (Outpost), Marvin Campbell (28 Days Later), Annelise Hesme (Alexander), and a first feature role for Charley Webb (Emmerdale).
Budget is predicted to reach £1.2m ($1.8m) and to shoot in NW England in and around the Lake District where the story is currently set. There are no shooting dates set at this time. However, as with all things we are prepared to uproot the narrative to Wales, Scotland, or the Peak district if sufficient financial interest can be garnered - the story has that versatility - to ensure appropriate seasons / weather conditions are achievable.
I'll keep you up to speed as things progress further.

New Project Moving Forwards.........
INFECTED
A fast-paced, traditionally constructed scifi horror script that mixes elements of "28 Days Later" with "The Ghost & The Darkness" into a 90 minute, tension-filled rollercoaster ride of fright-filled entertainment, all set within an agricultural landscape following an epidemic of Foot & Mouth disease.
With cast discussions already under way, and interest in the lead role confirmed by horror veteran Sean Pertwee, the filmmakers are pushing ahead with securing the modest £1.2m budget needed to bring this feature film into production.
Intended as the follow-up feature to debutante writer/director Nicholas David Lean's explosive psychological thriller "Hard Shoulder", it is anticipated this project will begin prep for shooting some time in late 2009.
